December, Christmas festivities and the New Year seem to have flashed passed with the blink of an eye and now here we are already into the first week of 2017 how?
December was crammed with performing at the traditional Christmas parties, weddings and corporate events. The kind gestures from clients has seen me work my way through 17 Christmas dinners (slightly down on last year!) it’s always great when the client makes you feel part of the group at a booking.
Over December I was again introduced to some new venues the most memorable was performing for a corporate 1920’s style Christmas party at Swindon Steam Museum where the transformation of the venue was incredible and I alongside two other magicians entertained nearly 500 guests, a venue well worth considering for your next event. I was also back of one of my favourite wedding venues the delightful Hyde House near Stow on the Wold for a winter wedding, I can’t praise the staff enough there thank you for looking after me so well and I’ll see you in early March if not before.
Other great news is that The Hollow Bottom have extended Magic Sundays throughout 2017 I’ll be there alternate Sundays performing walk around and table magic the next being January 15th 1.30pm – 3.30pm and they do an amazing roast! Not to be missed.
I’ll be back soon with more news but for now it appears the first week of January is when all the soon to be brides and grooms are planning their weddings!
